The Deterding's have been ranching the same land since 1899. Ryan is a 6th gen rancher raising the 7th gen. Karen is a 1st gen rancher, but she is a cowboy’s daughter and grew up ranching. The Colorado Prairie is the only thing they know. Ranching is something that they will never let die. So it just made sense to start feeding the area around them.
